Maybe you might want to try this method(Only for HDD that had
been formatted with NTFS partition.
1: Go to "my computer"
2: Right click on the drive that you want to prevent installation
of software and click on "Properties".
3: Click on the "Security" tab
4: Select the desire Username and under the "Permission for ",
check the box that stated "Modify" & "Write" which is located
at the "Deny" tab"
5: Click "ok"
