Is your program for auto 'ghost' restart a freeware? If so i
would like top know more about it. And cold warm boot yes it will
take a little longer for things to load if its right from cold.
Restart will be just like Chanff8 wrote. It helps resetting the
ram. As for games i agree with most others on the appropriate
processor (multi-core even better) type, more faster ram and better
graphics card if DOTA is indeed that power demanding.
I can also suggest getting a good server board and the registered,
buffered ECC rams with it. With Error Correction Code, you do not
have the shut down the PC to ragain ram and reset the errors or
dump accumulated after prolonged computer running or usage. The
error-correction code manges all that and keeps the server board
and system running error free at the ram.
