Manager433 SG Is it possible for a network card inside your pc to go suddenly ‘disappear’? Meaning it doesnt appear under system and everything seems to be working fine except that you can’t hook up to the internet?
Manager433 SG Then something fishy. Just now @ 730pm, I was downloading **3 and surfing sgf. Suddenly, connection speed down to zero and cant login to internet. I go under system, network adapter no longer there and no error appear too. Then just after 10pm, the stupid network adapter re-appear and everything works fine now. Could it be some outsider hacking my system for evidence???
ndmmxiaomayi SG No idea... never seen such things before. If somebody was to hack you, why would he be so dumb to disable your Internet? He needs your Internet to do bad stuff... Worth thinking about. I go do some searching.
chanff8 SG This sounds strangely familiar to my laptop’s DVD drive problem. My guess is the connection is loose. You can try this, when it disappears, go to Device Manager (Right-click My Computer, Properties, Hardware) and “Scan for hardware changes”. Chances are it’ll reappear.
