All batteries that has risk of over-heating and exploding has
been recovered. The laptops now should be quite safe, with new
stricter battery requirements I think.
I won't recommend Acer, from personal experience. Acer desktops
can, but not laptops. DVD drives always cause problems, sometimes
cannot detect at all.
