DVD/VCD movies in Mp4 format?

How do i rip off from my collection of DVDs and trancode them into mp4 format? I know how to do it for VCDs, but what I also want to know is how do I make the mp4 file size smaller so I can store more movies on my memory stick?

Imtoo converter is catered specifically for PSPs and Iporks. I use only SUPER converter. To reduce the size of your mp4 file is to trade off quality. you have to shave bitrate, or framerate, one move that will cut down 1/4 guranteed would be to use mono audio. Laughing I'm serious.

I just tried the video function for the psp, wow. Laughing I used 320X176 16:9 for widescreen format. I reckon 3somethingX208 is more suited for 4:3 formats.
