Was just wondering, Singapore Power (SP) rolled out trials for
this broadband service whereby the connection would be through the
power socket / lines and to the internet exchange (otherwise known
as Broadband Over Powerlines (BPL)), a couple of years back.
Claimed to offer superior transfer speed, in the gigabyte range (as
compared to the fastest residential speed of 30 megabytes/second,
currently)... What happen, arh..., why was the project
cancelled...???
