G Drive suddenly gone!

I always uses a memory card adapter and the G Drive to access my phone's memory card. This morning, I attach it to my computer and there's a message displayed, removable disc installed. And when I go on to My Computer, I can't find the G Drive, so now I can't access my memory card with my computer at all.

Any helps please?

Most common is bad connection.

But the G Drive is not in My Computer at all.

try a different port to connect to your adapter?

Bad connections i guess shld be problem with the phone and pc usb connection...maybe short circuit Very Happy

Sometimes it doesn't display at all.

Try the manual method.

Go to Start > Run and type in G:\

See if it opens. If it prompts that G drive is not available... then it's like what the others state.

After I typed it, it says that what I typed refers to a location which is unavailable. And my computer only has got one port for the memory card.

Your PC can't detect your hardware.

Right click My Computer and select Properties.

Select the Hardware tab. Click the Device Manager button.

Click on all the + signs until you find some unknown device.

Right click it and see what options it gives you.
