Xcert SG

normal surfing OK...

downloading...depends on what and where U download from.

manyu882 SG

i would recommend u Singnet.
Starhub(mol 4k(known as mol 6k for now)): download 6mbps, upload 256kbps
singnet(5kbps plan):download 5mbps ,upload 512kbps

for starhub:
------------
if 2 computer use for normal surfing is ok.. but if 2 computer use for p2p(bittorrent), you may end up choking the network and eventually lag everything including your downloads. so, defeat the purpose of having higher speed by 1mbps compared to singnet

Cenarious SG

nah its mainly for gaming we’re not lawbreaking pirates

Xcert SG

online gaming still bandwidth intensive... Laughing Mr. Green

wah seh.. positive leh...dont download copywrite stuffs from torrent la.. then u upload data in WLM how? one com upload can jam the network, the latency goes up and lags everything.

i heard many complains, even from my cousin who use singnet that they get disconnected when surfing the net or playing online games. The frequency is like once a day/3 days

Period of DC is like 30 mins each.

Im using Starhub 6k,and even tho gameplay speed kinda slow the connection is stable...never ever DC,not even once.

From personal experience, its not good if one has active bitcomet d/ling, and the other viewing image intensive sites. Laughing
