An example to illustrate (cost is made up):
Linksys router, wireless G: $80
Linksys router, wireless B: $60
Wireless G can support speeds up to 54Mbps, while Wireless B can
only support up to 11Mbps. That resulted in a price
difference.
Take another brand with the same speed will cost differently,
because each company has their own pricing and marketing
strategy.
