Let's analyse this. Spinners have advantage early in games bcos
of their usually similar lines they play, and need only minor
adjustment when they change lanes or when the conditions change.
the shot they throw is straightforward and simple, no need for much
calculations for breakpoints and such, whereas the hook ball bowler
has his headaches from here. Hookball bowlers are different. they
come usually in 3 tyoes. Crankers, strokers and forwardroll types.
true crankers are power bowlers that if done properly, can give XXX
even if the pocket is not hit well. given the power of the shot
they throw, but the lane conditions will kill them fast if it is
really very dry and the proper balls are not in hand. strokers and
the forwardroll types are simplistic shots that give basically skid
and flip. the shot looks nice but lacks the power of a cranker or
sometimes, even the spinner if the lanes are not read right.
All in all, wat u should play is really dependent on wat u can
throw now. and how much committment u put into training.
