meltz SG err wat model is yr toshiba laptop .. coz recently my office gt many case of Toshiba Tecra S1 laptop with faulty HDD .. send in quite alot to replce HDD blue screen with wat physical menory dump .. blabla ... check for any newly install hardware .. .. msg too long we call toshiba helpdesk .. and the only thing they tell us is send in for repair

dakkon_blackblade SG My laptop was a Compaq, though for some reason the hard disk is Toshiba. And yes I did get that BSOD, and I've since dumped that laptop and gotten myself a new one. HP Pavilion dv5000 series.

ndmmxiaomayi SG Like that ar... BSOD got lots of reasons. Since Toshiba did warn about hard disk failure, it could be due to it.
