022615 SG I know that such stuff are considered secrets and people won't share the methods with others.. Searching all around there's no direct instruction I can find which allow the client to download at such high speed. The most I get is around 15kb/s with 30+ seeds. I have done port forwarding and amended the advanced option, but there isn't any significant rise in speed. I am using utorrent, and if you know how, mind prv msg me a clear step by step guide which I can increase my speed? Thanks.
mochou SG if the torrent your are downloading is a popular one, with many seeds/user, it will go very fast, can even faster than 100k/s. If it is not popular, nothing you can do to make it fast, cos there are limited source u can download from.
chanff8 SG Speed varies with each torrent… Torrents with high number of seeds download faster. Set your listening port to anything above 50000. Thats the only trick I know. I usually get 100+kbps from torrents with 1000+ seeds. Oh, and be generous with your upload speed too. around 10kbps max upload should be enough. I don’t even need to forward ports

rebound SG check if u peer got remote anot if ur peers r mainly local n hav very little remote then is ur firewall probs 30kb/s is slow liao ppl dl at 100kb/s+ n is very noraml if u noe how 2 forward port or u r not behide router
