help!I cannot adjust the volume on my computer

my operating system is win mill,recently after I defrag the computer,the volume icon that allows you to adjust the volume is gone or not working at all.is there any other way axcept reformat it.there is alot of work in the com.please help.the drive space is always changing too after I defrag it,it says this amount.after restarting it says another,any help in this ared will be appreciate.Thanks!

I think you tio virus..... drive space shouldn't be changing all the time...

Scan for viruses first.

control panel>system>device manager> uninstall sound/audio devices

then go Add Hardware Wizard and search then reinstall again

or issit control panel>audio devices>show icon in notification bar..

yups. ur drive space shouldn't be kept changing. format the system is the best solution. everythin will fall back to it's own after that.

as for the sound icon... mayb u can try reinstall ur sound driver software. Very Happy
