selling84 SG anyone using this laptop??? i seems to have problem charging the 3 cell battery…just went to the service centre to replace a new battery but it just doesnt charge….but the 6 cell battery works fine??? wat is wong??? 3 cell cannot charge 6 cell can charge???
ndmmxiaomayi SG Maybe the current going through is too strong for a 3-cell battery, it spoils the battery.
selling84 SG huh but the ac adaptor is original leh....and actually the battery is not spoilt...just that it cannot charge while the laptop is on....at least i tot it might be a characteristic but to think of it its kind of lame if after 1hr of work in the office u need to off the laptop to charge battery for 1 hr cos the battery cant charge wif the laptop on??? wah sianz....just came back from service centre today....tmr have to go again
ndmmxiaomayi SG Some laptops have auto off feature, which means when it’s fully charged, it won’t charge. I don’t know if the newer Acer laptops have this feature, you have to ask them. If they have, then that’s the reason why it can’t charge.
selling84 SG actually it isnt fully charged.....i think its difficult for u to picture it.....i find it amasing too....wif the ac adaptor plug in and the laptop on, u can see that the battery is slowly draining til dead....the only way to get it charge again is to charge it wif laptop off....
