bladez87 SG i recently bought this new software cd. so i was installing halfway when i suddenly go cancel it. and i press cancel la. so the installation auto delete the installed files. then i tried to install again and encountered a problem , error saying what file is corrupted cannot be installed. how ah?
MosPyramid SG Lol... why so itch handed. Ok, you go copy you that software name, Star>Run>regedit +, then + //to paste the software name inside. Find for every single registry with the software name in it and delete the all the keys. Done.
bladez87 SG damn you wouldnt believe it. i bought this disc for 3d studio max, and maya, and both installation files are corrupted. not to mention the other 3d designing software require online licence connection. meaning my cd is literally useless.
chanff8 SG Same thing happened when I tried installing Acrobat Reader 7. Try deleting all the software-related files in Program Files folder. If you can't delete, restart your comp and try deleting again.

er_liang89 SG contact the company for help. most likely there's some things the program has written into your windows registry but did not delete them when u cancel it. maybe u can try windows restore(if u are using windows xp) to the time before u install the program and try again.
