PLEASE, HELP MMMEEE!!

Im using Max Online cable but my internet is so slow. Is there any ways to speed it up? When I surf the net, i only have like 3 windows opened and BEST of all, i just got my computer fixed for viruses! Im using Norton Antivirus now, does this awkwardly slow internet have anything to do with virus or worm? Experts out there plz help me.

It's common for internet speed to slow down a bit after fixing the computer for viruses. Norton Antivirus uses real time monitoring, so internet speed will be slow. Firewalls, too, uses real time monitoring, so it slows down a bit more.

You can change your Norton Antivirus to another antivirus vendor like AVG or avast!.

Nah, ill rather stick to Norton, it has better product support. Anyway, I just found out that my internet only slows down when i go to Yahoo Auctions. And its really slow, compared to my earlier experiences.Oh, and when i try to change the internet options, they wouldnt let me!

u cleared viruses but did u clear spyware?viruses and spyware are 2 diff things.Virus destroys and sorta jumbles up yr system while spyware mainly clog up yr system and collect private info.

easy way out is to re-store ur IE or extreme method is to re-format ur HDD to get rid of these “pests”.
