dude with a connection prob

hey hello...

there might be a similar post somewhere here,but dont mind me...

im using the singnet 1500k plan and the 2wire modem/router that came with it,
just now my browser stopped working and when i checked the connection status,it showed that it wasnt receiving or sending packets...
however,when i restarted my computer it became normal again.. this happened twice
and only after i removed norton anti virus/internet security frm my computer...i didnt have this problem untill now

what i wanna know is...does this have anything to do with norton internet security messing up my connection settings after it was removed? and how can i restore everything to default...assuming that my comp isnt infected by anything (most probably it isnt...i installed another antivir before removing norton)

please advice...thanks

Blue part: only one antivirus and one firewall should be installed. Anything more than that would mess up the system.

You would have to do a system restore to the point before you installed the new antivirus.

if you wanna restore everything to default...like he say...do system restore...or reformat your comp...everything will be normal...

sometimes when i download for long period of time this will happen to me too

same as the threadstater, singnet 10mb plan with 2wire router.

lol...very funny hor... in case this s|-|it happens again then i know what to do la...anyway...its working fine alrdy...no more probs phew....and i didnt have to do a thing abt it...zzz.....thanks for ur helps guys.....
