Complete Removal Of Program?

gLc SG

Hi guys , nid some help again man .
recently i installed Maplestory , a 2d scrolling game , which i ran into some problems uninstalling,
when i try to uninstall it , it claims that it has TOTALLY uninstalled it , but actually it hasnt , and
when i want to reinstall it , it always repeats the uninstalling process over and over again and
never gets to the installing process . Is there a way whereby i can totally take it off my com
safely and den install it so it doesnt detect any program previously installed and so it would
not attempt to uninstall.
Thx once again. Help appreaciated

you using xp?
how come cannot remove it...

erm...you can search for the installation folder...than delete the files in it...
when you go control panal->uninstall->do you still see that thing there?

or you can do a system restore back to the day you uninstall...then uninstall it again...

This is what i see , Under control panel i still do see the program there

hmm... if its xp..it will say this program is not in use or somewhere along that line and ask whether you would like to remove it from the program list...thats normally...

abnormally...you can delete the folder of the orginal installation file lor...

if not...don't play maple...its a kids game... Cool

Oooh, bad install log. Laughing Time to flush your registry. Wait for the mod to come tell you. I'm too lazy to write a para full of description right now.

whats "you can delete the folder of the orginal installation file lor..."
i tried manually deleting the folder under C drive but somehow somewhere
the darn program is still there and refuses to uninstall. Confused

Whats flush ure registry? doesnt sound nice . Shocked

Delete the value from registry. I don't play Maple, so I don't know what's the value for it.

ditzy SG

Then just teach him to delete any registry entry that looks suspiciously like maple. Laughing

hmmmmm.....sounds like the program has been corrupted.........either that......the windows operating system has become unstable.......perhaps there might be reminant files or folders in the system in which the uninstall didn;t remove????

Can't work, try finding this key in the registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER

Scroll down until you find anything related to Maple and delete.

Still cannot work, call Maple Support.

You noob, don't try it, instead get a copy of any REGISTRY CLEANER. That should be able to flush out the program completely.
