Dear Pioneer,
We regret to inform you, that Homecoming Dinner 2009 will
be held on 15 August 2009, instead of the originally
planned date. This is due to concerns regarding the Influenza Type
A, H1N1 virus. As you may already know, the number of people
infected with the virus is on the rise in Singapore. The Ministry
of Education has hence advised, for all major social gatherings to
be cancelled or postponed to a later date, to practice social
distancing so as to minimise the spread of the virus.
Deadline for registration will hence be postponed to 31st
July 2009.
This is a decision made with your good health and well-being as our
top priority. We seek your kind understanding in the matter and
hope that you will continue to support this event. We sincerely
apologise for any inconvenience caused.
We wish you the best of health.
Best wishes,
Pioneer Alumni Circle
