deathscythe99 SG But...there is still power supplied to the CPU. (cos drives still work, but no activity from the HDD LED) And my screen just flickers as if it is in hibernation mode, and no matter wad I do it does not return back to Windows, end up have to restart. Happens all the time, and varying frequencies after startup. Could it be due to a recent trip which my desktop occurred? What can I do to troubleshoot the problem? P.S. I was watching videos once and it just died on me suddenly...so...
ndmmxiaomayi SG The trip could have damaged your HDD or motherboard. You probably have to buy a new mobo or HDD, depending on the damage.
deathscythe99 SG But...HDD and mobo still working now...? Do I send it down for checks? It's gigabyte btw
ndmmxiaomayi SG Send it down for checks. If there's no damage, it could be other reasons. If there's damage, just buy another one. Sometimes, things aren't damaged very badly, so it still can work, but maybe giving problems.
deathscythe99 SG Hmm...okay.... Like it's working NOW as I speak. But somehow leave it by itself for some time it will auto-die o.O
