Fault: Internet Explorer can't open link in new window

Gordonator SG

firefox is fine but when posting in sgforums, when i type a URL and want to make it clickable or display as a pic, i can't do it by highlighting it and clicking the "img" or "url' button.

with IE, i'm able to do that. so a little ease-of-use issue here. Laughing

Same situation here. have to click twice for the URLs and images

I remembered I encounter your IE problem before but I never solved it, cos I was in the midst of transiting to Firefox Laughing

its an unreported "bug"...happens on almost all IE sp2 version. some ok but the rest ended up like urs...its kinda indirectly telling u to upgrade to IE 7 else gona stuck with this forever...cos u cant downgrade IE...either u have restore point or do a windows repair or better still reformat the whole hard disk.

ok i reinstalled IE 6 SP 1 this morning. everything is back to normal. i have no choice, my work relvove around the company intranet and the intranet works better using IE instead of firefox.
