i have a problem.
i wanted to buy a dvd - r player and salesman told me not all recorder can record. So how anyone of you have a dvd - r player at home and can record and watch diff channel at the same time?
what about watching a scv channel and recording a scv channel at the same time any problem?

6 years of cablevision and I still dunno how to change the channel when I'm recording another scv channel. Laughing Except having another set top and another tv.

you need to have 2 channel tune to scv
for example you record in channel 1 then you switch to channel 2 to view the channel that is not recording
