Right Speaker Faulty

My left speaker produces normal sound, right speaker got sound, but the thing is, it's muffled, not clear de... abit buzzing buzzing...

If i put my speaker volume and adjust to left speaker, no problem, good sound quality and control, as for right speaker, if i put all the way to the right, its very very soft, muffled, not clear buzzing buzzing...

I had tried plugging my hard disk into other speaker(let's say speaker 2), it's the same problem, right speaker problem...

But using my brother's hard disk to speaker 2, the speaker 2 produces normal sound...

Sometimes all of a sudden my right speaker will go back to normal sound..
then sometimes faulty..

My guess is that, it's not totally speakers fault/speaker's cable..

Maybe it's the sound card or something? Can help?

My speaker use to work properly.. until recently(maybe my brother went to tamper with it) .. so could it be the sound card?

The volume is set to middle... so don't tell me about the volume controls..
If you need me to list my specs that could help along, i'll do so..

Hope I get you right.

You said you plug in your hard disk into another speaker, which means you tested on another computer, right?

Then you tested your brother's, it worked normally.

Have you tried exchanging the sound cards for both computers? Does it still give you problems?

No... i don't know how to take out the sound card..

hard disks dun make a sound on its own.. unless ur talking about hdd mp3 players..

use some alcohol swabs to wipe the connectors.. might get u back in business.. but even if it does... be aware that its only a temporary solution..

i already said it may be the sound card’s fault.. not the wires..

Is it screwed? Meaning there are screws? Try unscrewing it or bring it to a professional shop and test it.

not solved... i try a bit of force to pull out the sound card... but cannot... also dont dare to use too much force... how arh?

Are there screws? If there are, remove the screws. Same thing for your brother's computer. Swap the 2 cards and see how.
