how to login to xp without being prompted for password

believe it or not.. i just installed xp in my home comp. yes... my previous comp was like 7 years old. Razz

anyway when i startup, xp always stops at this login screen where i am prompted for the password even though the password may be blank.

how can we skip this screen and make xp automatically login and run?

Paiseh, never read properly your question.

When you installed XP, did you add any user names? If yes, you can't skip that welcome screen. You can delete that user from your computer. Go to Control Panel, Users. Delete that user you added. You can now log in automatically.
