On land, a Polar Bear has height advantage and has powerful paws. But I recalled a Discovery prog shows that they are no match for certain seals in N pole. Shocked

Polar bears definitely have height and weight advantage on land.

But as for seals, it's completely new to me. But if polar bears are known to kill whales, something must be able to kill them or the whole ecosystem would be upset.

But I wonder about this comment:

It does make some sense too. Bring it to the tropics and the polar bear would die first. Or maybe I'm wrong? Nature is definitely fun to study.

Polar Bears are known to overheat even in the natural environment...

they are built too well to keep heat and also to get heat from the environment.. the fur is actually transparent and lets the rays of the sun go to their skin which is black to absorb the heat..

they cool down by lying on their bellies Laughing

Nice fact. I knew their skin was black, but never knew that the fur is transparent.

Other than that, never eat polar bear livers. You will die sooner than you expect. Not that their livers are poisonous though... it's way too nutritious that you die of overtaking vitamins, just like how you can die of water poisoning.

I read that there was 2 men who did so, and got died.
