overhyped...
drinks fuel like no tmr...
slow pickup...

very common and very ugly especially the stock rims... omg!!!
only thing good is the AWD but even that u dun have a nice set of brakes to complement cos u get rear drum brakes.....

why do u want to buy this car... hear ur friends say wrx veh powerful got turbo whatnot izzit... cos kenna friend psycho say subaru is best ah??? at 55k... there i suggest u get vios, swift, jazz, city...

lancer goi to come out a more fierce looking in 2008, if u buy the current lancer,the depreciation is going to be alot.

btw, you have said that it consumer petrol like hell. so how is the fuel consumeration? whatis the basic consumetion rate for car that is acceptable?

Don't buy the current lancer yet..might as well wait for the new one coming out soon..the new one will be a MUCH better car..

The Subaru Impreza 1.6 TS is quite a lousy car in terms of space and power..but the engine and 4WD is good..

The Impreza WRX is not that great either..very noticeable turbo lag at low rpm, not as powerful as Evo, and poor brakes..but steering is highly lauded for it's precision and feel..haha..

So I agree with the others here..get the "save bet" cars like Jazz, City, Vios, Corolla and stuff like that..you won't go wrong with them.. Wink

bro... i suggest u go look at swift... for sporty looks... or u die die dun wan hatchback want sedans ah?

lancer is cheap and good looks... but old engine and rear drums... and the new one coming out...

vios and altis are ASSEMBLED in thai... all important components still come frm japan...so should be no prob... and the vios juz come out new one... i think not bad...

There's actually nothing really very bad about the car's assembled in Thailand..the fit and finishing may take a little drop, but not very noticeable..the only problem u got to put up with is the large number of them on the roads..

If you are someone looking to be different and stand out from the crowd, then Toyotas and Hondas are not for you.. Mr. Green

12km/L will be acceptable..

TS has FC of range 8~11km/L.. most ppl get 9km/L i heard. Laughing

maybe u can look at honda jazz..

If u wan to compare pls compare stock to stock not stock to mod.

If you wan a car with comfort, good FC and reasonable amt of power, can try honda fit/jazz, vios, altis and lancer... there might be more at the range of around 55k

Subaru TS is not a very economical car.

Main reason is due to high FC. Engine is not powerful too, considering its macho look. Acceleration up slopes is very slow too.

One look and everyone can see it's a poor cousin of the WRX. Budget only $55k, I suggest you tune your taste to other cars.
