herself with a series of bizarre outfits

She's known for her bizarre sense of style and retro-futuristic
look - but Lady GaGa managed to outdo herself yesterday.
The Poker Face singer was spotted in Toronto in a series of
increasingly outlandish outfits, as she prepared for an appearance
at the Much Music Awards bash.
Proving she still hasn't lost the ability to shock, GaGa unveiled a
hot-pink leotard with what looked like an inflatable collar, and a
silver jumper that seemed to be a giant Brillo Pad.

That wasn't all, though. She also debuted a black-leather biker
jacket with red stilettos perched inexplicably in the place of
shoulder pads.
The 23-year-old, who was recently snapped canoodling with her
boyfriend Speedy in Hawaii, has previously attributed her
innovative sense of style to absorbing her mother’s love of fashion
while growing up.
But it's not just about clothes - according to the lady herself,
it's something much, much more.
'Everything that you see me do is in some way taken and inspired by
these visions in my brain that happen because of the way I live my
life.

'So I just live and breathe art every day, and I consider myself to
be a performance artist. Every time you see me, it's performance.
When I'm sleeping, it's performance,' she said recently.
GaGa, real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, was brought up
in New York, playing piano at five years old and performing in jazz
clubs by her early teens.
At 20 she was writing pop songs for other stars - including
Britney, New Kids on the Block and the Pussycat Dolls - before
landing her own record deal.
The Just Dance singer released her third single, Paparazzi, this
month.
In the video for the song, GaGa is seen in a passionate clinch with
three brothers who bear an uncanny resemblance to the singer
herself.
