Hi UltimaOnline, Do you know what O level Chemistry topics
are linked to A level H2 chemistry? I want to start revising before
JC starts. Thanks
Hi CKTR (btw in future for general queries or Chem qns, pls post on
the forum ; only use PM if you've queries about joining my
BedokFunland JC tuition),
As far as preparation for H2 Chemistry is concerned, O level
Chemistry (whether combined or pure) is too oversimplified and thus
rather useless. The most effective way to prepare for any H2
subject ahead of your school, is of course to find a good tuition.
But if you intend to go it alone (ie. self-preparation), then use A
level materials, not O level materials. It'll be a much steeper
learning curve than what you've previously encountered at O levels
of course, but you can still learn a lot through self-study of the
topics ahead of your school lectures and tutorials.

Last but certainly not least, use this forum here to ask any H2
Chem qns you might have, during self-study or from your school
tutorials. Just be aware that I won't do your homework for you,
I'll only post comments to guide you. As such, don't just post the
questions alone (for some qns, you may have to take a photo with ur
handphone, upload the image file to your own blog / FB / Twitter /
etc, then link to the image file in ur forum post), but you must
also post your own attempted answers and thinking process, for me
to comment, correct and advise you on. SgForums can be of
significant help to your studies this way.
Ok thx I will take note of this. I am also considering to sign
up for your tuition classes after I entered JC, will contact you
later to find out more.
