I dread this paper as I rarely ever score well for free writing
(I'm talking 17/18/19 out of 30). It's about less than a week to
English O Levels and I am writing essays everyday from my
TYS/prelim practice packs to practice, but I still have some
queries:
1. How does one spot the difference between discursive and
argumentative essay? If I write argumentative for an essay that is
better to be written as discursive, will I get penalised?
2. Is it easier to write personal reflective, discursive, or
argumentative?
3. Do cambridge markers mark essays very strictly? WIll they
give me like 15/30 or so for my usual quality essays?
I really want to turn my English B3 to an A1, so I can get into
NJC... any other advice is also welcome
