SINGAPORE: The results of the GCE N Level examination for Normal
(Academic) and Normal (Technical) students will be released on
Thursday (Dec 17), announced the Ministry of Education (MOE) and
the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB).
Candidates may obtain their result slips from their schools from
2pm, while private candidates will be notified by post. Private
candidates who are eligible for SingPass can also log in to the
Internet Examination Results Release System on SEAB’s website to
view their results.
Students who wish to apply for Institute of Technical Education
(ITE) courses can submit their applications online upon collection
of their results.
APPLICATION FOR
POLYTECHNIC PROGRAMMES
For eligible students who wish to apply for polytechnic programmes
under the Direct Entry Scheme (DPP), they can obtain an application
form from their schools. They may submit their DPP applications
online via the ITE portal between 2.30pm on Dec 17 and 5pm on Dec
21.
The DPP posting results will be released at 9am on Dec 23, and
students may check the results on the ITE application portal.
Successful applicants have until 5pm on Dec 28 to accept or reject
the DPP offer, while unsuccessful applicants are required to report
to their secondary schools for Secondary 5 on Jan 4, 2016.
Under the DPP, students will attend a two-year Higher Nitec course
at an ITE and if they attain the required grades in the programme,
they will be guaranteed a place in a polytechnic diploma
course.
Eligible students interested in the Polytechnic Foundation
Programme (PFP) may apply in January 2016, when the O Level results
are released.
Students should commence the Sec 5 year on Jan 4, 2016 while they
await notification of eligibility for PFP, said MOE and SEAB.
