plucking the durian and eat it is much more interesting and exciting and more joyful rather than buying from the market..you never climb or pluck your own fruits from a tree in the past in your own kampong before?

For the poor souls after feeding govt could well mean they are left with nothing or very little for themselves.

Just yesterday my neighbour in her 60s asked for help in looking for job. she is staying alone and paying all the bills. The constant rise in the costs of living can possibly takes toll in one's life. What is the point of having the most expensive govt in the world and in reality average / middle and no income groups are "suffocating" to be alive in sg .....

Govt are suppose to make life better and this purpose is not met better "put them to sleep" . In sg it is either you die or we die.

GIC and Temasek is our money, to be used for investment to make more money. I don't care where they make it. When they make money, spend in Singapore for better infra structures, subsidies in education, defence....

You can follow them to invest overseas, that is your money, but buy properties in Malaysia and Philippines, good luck.

rambutan we pluck, mango we pluck, durian we wait for it to drop, usually in the night. In Singapore and Malaysia, nobody climb up durian trees to pluck durian!

You ever pluck durian from a tree?

During kampong days, besides collecting the fallen durians on the ground, me and my friends used long pole to pluck or used catapult to shoot it down.....like to some politicians in Singapore so they will wake up and do their job properly....lols. Most durians from Malaysia and Thailand you find in Singapore market, besides collecting the fallen durians on the ground, they harvested the durians manually too....if they wait for it to ripe and drop....they lose time and money.

if it is not a mistake why are you asking the government to invest in Singapore and not overseas?

I never say you cannot invest, just wish you good luck.Temasek have lost millions but made back in the next few deals. Small time investors can follow, just lose your pants, or sarong.
