Singapore has continually been seeing a growth in foreigner
numbers, with a rise of about 7% per year most recently in both
2011 and 2012. The gov also issues Employment Passes, the various
categories being P/Q/R/S-Passes. You can find more info

We have also been very welcoming towards foreign corporations.
Just look around shopping malls and you can see all the foreign
brands: LV, H&M, Uniqlo, even McDonald's. Some companies even
set up factories or plants here, like Seagate and Shell. These are
only a few examples I can name off the top of my head.
