My subjects
1. GP-managable,has a good teacher in school so I’m confident of
passing this (I have average english standards though)
2. General studies in chinese-manageable, my best subject out of
the ones I take, no tuition for this subject available anyway. (I
have average chinese standards)
3. Maths -cannot understand anything in H2 lectures, spends long
time on tutorials and have been failing 4 quizzes with extremely
low scores. However, my dad is very good and math and helps me to
clarify my concepts and do the math tutorials. However, I still
fail badly in quizzes cos I can’t do new questions even though i
practiced similar ones?? Idk what this problem is callled. I have
average math standards (B3 in sec 4, which I thought is quite good
, but my teacher say is weak compared to other students in
class)
4. Chemistry- cannot understand anything in lectures but after
self-reading, about 50%? My dad helps me in Chemistry too with the
concepts and tutorials but I have been failing 2 quizzes with low
scores( Not as low as maths). My sec 4 chem is C5
5. Economics,- can understand concepts but fail at essays ( got
1/8 and 0.5/5 for tests) My school makes us write essays even
though i’m only in j1 :/
SO what tuition do I need?
If you can afford it, go for all 3 tuitions : H2 Chem, H2 Math, and
H2 Econs. Solo tuition is a lot more expensive than group tuition,
so work accordingly with your budget.
Meanwhile, you can always post your Chem / Math / Econs qns here,
and get free help (naturally not as effective as real-life
tuition).
