Hello, just wanna share my story, cause I used to be failing Lit
and SS all the way through upper sec too, but in the end I (somehow
miraculously) got A1 for combined humans (SS + e. lit). What I'm
trying to say is, it's possible and you don't have to worry :) my
advice is, work hard, consult your teachers and read good essays.
And some more you used to get As (while I am just naturally bad at
humans) so it could just be you need some time to adjust to the
upper sec syllabus (or your school papers are crazily tough). For
lit, what I did was read a lot of good essays and learn from them.
and it also helps to be confident in writing, trust yourself and
know that it's not hard, after all there's no correct/wrong answer
so whatever you write will score some marks as long as it's
logical! and for SS, actually memorising is key but I think it's
also important to read the news for some examples you can apply to
your essays. Hope my two cents worth helps and all the best :)
