Depending on what course you wish to take. Math and science
would be important as it forms your foundation in Engineering,
however, if you were to choose other path it should be ok, ie:
Design.
Though, the most alarming matter would be not knowing what
course you wanted to take. There are many cases of people wasting
time and money because they chose the wrong course or they "anyhow"
choose just becoz they wanted to go poly.
Do take time to think about what you want to do in the future
and plan your development towards it.
Your education development should be based on your future
outcome and not the other way around.
