Why come to TP when you stay so far away?

What makes you want to come to TP?

Since people always ask us this question anyways, might as well have a post here.

I for one live in Jurong East, and i take 3 buses to school. Taking about 1 hr 20 minutes to reach school.

Why i came?

Several reasons:

1) Elimination took me to Law & Management, which was only available in TP.
2) Back in secondary school i knew a lot of people, so I wanted to see what being in a new school where I knew no one, would feel like.
3) Yeap, my sense of siao-ness. I always told people i was half crazy.
4) Law sounded like fun~

That's it lor.

oh man!!! my journey to school is normally 1.5 - 2 hrs!!

the most terok one was 3hrs!!!!!!!! it took me 3 whole hrs just to get to TP!
i missed one lesson and i got a good scolding... damn! it was really traffic jam, not my fault wat..

Girl ar, where you stay and what bus you take?

If i take 197 to school, i'll take 2 1/2 hours to reach.
If i take 66... maybe 2 hours. never tried.

Once i got stuck in a traffic jam, then everyone late for 30 minutes...

Oh yea, we got a new rule now.

>1 minute = late
>10 minutes = absent
2 late = 1 absent

Sad right... so strict now~

i was staying at hillview..
tat time no 23, so, took 67 all the way to TP...

then when 23 started,
i took 67 to change 23.. and since it goes on expressway, it's faster A BIT..

23 is a good service, but sometimes we wait for 20 minutes just for one 23 to come... then in the morning we always have to stand in the crowd... its horrible.

Once i ever saw 80+ pple waiting in that bus stop... It was really amazing~

so strict ah!! tat time, i was late for almost EVERY morning lessons.
lectures still ok, becoz class rep can sign for us.
but for tutorials, after late for a few times, i kena a warning letter.... but nothing serious really happened lah.

Sob. You dunno how bad it is now. Its worse for us people who're far away, and are geuinuely late because of the jams.

For those who stay near no excuse lar, but roar... it sux.

Upper bukit timah... oh. Near beautyworld that one?

Think that time got 989, which leads you to take 23, so should be alright. Or if you're talking about THE other bukit Timah... then i heard theres 970 i think... dunno lar, doesn't matter now.
