should i retake? i have a distintion for oral but i'm scared to
compete with the hcl people
I got B3 for Chinese during the first exam as well as a
distinction for oral, but I retook it and got A2. The Higher
chinese people normally will not retake the exam, and since you
have distinction for oral, you got a better chance to score. I
graduated last year btw.
However my advice to you is that if you can allocate enough time
to study chinese and your grades for the other subjects are not too
bad, you should retake. If you are getting a C or lower for the
other subjects, I would suggest that you to focus on the other
subjects instead. Perhaps consult your teacher if you are still not
sure to retake or not. All the best for your 'O's.
