Hi! You are not alone! It is very common to fail some subjects.
I saw a chem paper at a neighbourhood JC this year and it was
tougher than NJC prelim qns 2011 in general.
What is more important is your attitude. You have to cut down on
playing and less computer and hp and other distractions.
Plan a study timetable. Ask your good classmates for help in
questions that you do not understand. Learn to ask questions and
think a bit deeper.
For chem, maybe you can get some neighbourhood JC lecture notes
(eg. IJC, YJC) if you find your notes a bit cheeem. These notes are
usually clearer and more basic. But they may lack the advanced
stuff that RJC notes have. Or you can purchase C S Toh's yellow
color guide book. Study the notes, ask questions, and practise your
tutorials and some promos qns from past years. make your own
notes.
Most important is to be disciplined. You can make it!
Or you can consider some tuition for your weakest subject.
