About Us
The Tourism Academy @ Sentosa is a collaborative effort between
The Sentosa
Leisure Group, which manages Singapore's only island resort of
Sentosa, and Temasek
Polytechnic, a government tertiary institution that is renowned
for its market-oriented and industry-relevant education.
Located on Sentosa, a resort island, the Academy spreads over a
complex of historical buildings. The Academy is also the first
institution in Asia to have its campus right in the heart of a
thriving resort destination, where students can enjoy the close
proximity to the numerous attractions and facilities available on
the island.
The Tourism Academy @ Sentosa offers both its local and
international students some real action and very hands-on lessons
where the entire island with its many attractions will be their
classroom!
Temasek
Polytechnic offers a Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism
Business which is a two-year full-time programme. This course is
done entirely on its satellite campus on Sentosa. The diploma
can propel you to exciting jobs in sectors like hotels and resorts,
travel and tourism, food and beverage, attractions, leisure, and
MICE (Meetings Incentives Conventions Exhibitions).
Or it can serve as a pathway to a degree.
A lot of emphasis is placed in building confidence in solving
problems, having a network of international friends and projecting
a professional presence.
