Dear Ssirajj, perhaps taking a break from school is a good
choice. I am also a polytechnic dropout and understand that
sometimes school may be stressful. A change in environment could be
helpful. Serve his NS first, after completing his NS, then study
again. By the time he's out, he will be more mature and understand
the importance of education.
I am glad to see parents here seeking opinions from the
community, and certainly I can tell you care a lot for your son. He
does not need any reprimand, but care and support. Be supportive of
his decision, and he'll do well in future.
I am Homework Forum moderator, you can find me here. http://sgforums.com/forums/2297
P.S. I dropout of my course not because I don't like my
school/course, I dropout for personal reasons.
