hi guys, imagne u now live in HK. I think u will consider SG is
a heaven.
out of HK 7 million population, there are 6.5 million is
resident population,
ie they can stay in HK without any restriction, like SG
citizens.
BUT, see for yourself how much is the TOTAL residential
units
for sale (private plus public ) complted in the past 3 years on
average--less than
10,000 units a year!
Each year, there are about 40,000 newly wed in HK.
So tell me lah,is it enough?
HK ceases building publich housing for sale
since 2002, HOS==home ownership scheme
flats.
So, HK people have been at the mercy of developers in the past
10 years.
u can also see how much units were commenced to build in the
past years.
The dire situation will not improve.

u go to HDB annual report. see how much HDB ciomplted in the
past 10 years.
1. In the future 2 years. HDB will offer units more than average
of resident
marriage(at least 1 is PR or citizen) in the past 2 yeasr,ie
about 20,000 units.
in the past 7 years, new HDB units completed is about 70 % of
resident marriage.
eg 20,000 resident marriages vs 14,000 units completed.
which country can do this?
2. HK public rentals---unless u earn very little, then u are
eligible.
3. completion of SG Private residentiasl units in the past 2
years are more than HK!!
study property price ,then come back and talk.
