DSA JC 2012

Hi guys! I'm really interested in getting into JC through DSA because i know if i don't use DSA, i might not get into the school i wanted to get into. (SAJC & CJC)

However, my L1R5 for my mid-year is not really good. (20). But i'm doing really well in my CCA - Choir. I'm a sectional leader and i auditioned and got into a choir programme that MOE organized for people with singing talent and all. On top of all these, i represented my school in national competitions and attended many leadership courses (OBS, Camp leaders course, AEM...) And also planned the sec 3 overseas and sec 2 adventure camp.

I emailed the teacher I/C for both schools and i already booked my audition slot for the SAJC one while the CJC teacher have not gotten back to me yet.

Should i give up for CJC and just go for the SAJC one? I also heard that SAJC is reducing the amount of DSA students. :/ Help! Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Go for the audition that is already booked and see how far you can go, do not worry about what you have heard (which may not be true as we all know of hearsay). Perform your best and the best opportunity may come a-knocking, good luck!

P.S. It's school hols and many teachers are vacationing, so you probably are not getting that response from CJC.

hey !! i also applied for DSA-choir for SAJC and my exp. are generally the same as u ( CCAB choir programmes , leadership camps etc!!) :D don't give up on ur CJC DSA & dont put all ur eggs in one basket !! I tried to apply for SAJC, AJC and ACJC for the DSA thingy, and SAJC & AJC alrdy confirmed with me the audition dates. Just give it a try :D going for one more audition wont harm u anyway XD JIAYOU!!
