Is it needed to state the plate you are referring to if there is a map given to you. Like for example when they ask you how the east African rift valley is formed and a map is also given. Is it necessary to write the name of the plate you are referring to instead of just writing continental plate?

Yes i think it will be required because after all, a map is provided. Important landforms like the east african rift valley you will need to know the names of the plates that form it. But if you don't know then don't write cos i think will minus marks lol...You O or A lvl?
