You will need to pass your English before you can be promoted to
sec 5. However, the school principal may promote you base on other
factors like CCA, leadership,staff recommendations etc.
Generally if a student fails English, the school would encourage
the student for ITE NITEC courses. If the school is compassionate
enough, the principal will allow you to retain 1 year for sec
4Na.
