This is what I did, but in NUS. Not AUs, but MCs.
My course needed 161 MCs over 8 semesters. I took 181 MCs to
learn things I find interesting, i.e. German and Japanese
language.
1st Sem: 23 MCs
2nd Sem: 25 MCs
3rd Sem: 24 MCs
4th Sem: 24 MCs
Special Sem: 6 MCs
5th Sem: Industrial Attachment (12 MCs) + 1 night module (4
MCs)
6th Sem: Student Exchange (20 MCs)
7th Sem: 19MCs + 6MCs from FYP
8th Sem: 12 MCs + 6MCs from FYP ==> Realised only 12 MCs?
To focus on FYP.
Looking back, if I didn't clear so many modules in the first 2
years, I might not have the time or flexibility to go for
attachment or exchange. The student exchange was the highlight of
my uni life.
However, this is a lot a lot of hard work.
Like what toiletries said, it is too late to add modules now. So
the best you could do is to do really well for this semester, and
decide if you want to bump up your AUs next semester. Make the best
use of your decision. If you took lesser AUs than normal, use the
extra time to make sure you really score.
