Dilemma over results

I did pretty alright for my O levels. Here was my scores.

English B3

Humanities A2

Mother Tongue A2

Food and Nutrition B3

Principles of Accounts C5

Combined Science C6

E.Maths E8

CCA A2

So, if i were to count my L1R4 it would be 13 after CCA bonus points. It sounds pretty alright right? But i failed maths and to be eligible for a poly, i need to at least pass maths. I'm only eligible for Higher Nitec courses which of course i'm not really interested in. I'm trying to appeal to a polytechnic course which is humanities related or english related. But in case i failed to get accepted in, should i take private maths then move on to a poly or should i just go to higher nitec?

In my personal opinion, your results is good for poly.

Currently, what you can do now is to wait for the DAE admission for the 5 polys. Send your application for DAE and wait for the results. Because your case is different from most student, I believe *with a little faith* and the courses you choose, there may be a high chance that the poly may offer you a conditional admission. Meaning you need to retake maths while in poly.

If you failed to get into a poly due to some reasons, please retake O Level Maths and science, and go to Poly next year. This saves you one year if you were to go Higher Nitec.
