Yesterday went to the tuition center, and was informed to take a walk in the secondary school.

Talk to the teachers and students over there and walk around the school. (those your kid wish school list).

I dont know that we can walk into the secondary school for a private tour.

it's the hols and schools are not open (officially)
but u may still find some admin staff or teachers
though they would just tell u refer to the handbook or websai

if u are oni missing the COP by 2 pts or so, u can submit appeal letter to the intended sch so they might still consider giving u a seat or put u on waiting list

if u relli wanna try, write a letter to the P of tt sch
and state why ur kid shd deserve a place there, or probably even use alumni relations (if any)
back up with the result slips of P5 midyear, EOY and P6 midyear, prelims

I was in that school about 20 yrs ago.

And the school is indeed a good school.

But anyway, will put it 1st choice.

If cannot get in, then no choice lah.

Take 2nd or 3rd choice which is between this range.

it's a not T form

form T = form teacher

u have to send the appeal letter to the sch P first
so tt he/she can review and decide whether to consider accepting or put on waiting list or jit tao reject
the P might conduct interview with the student
when the posting is out, if u get into the desired sch, then good loh
if u get posted to somewhere else, u have to go there and report first
then go the intended sch and find the P, ask the P want to accept the student or not
if P say no, then too bad, go back to the sch posted
if P say welcome, then make arrangement to withdraw from the first sch and transfer to the intended sch

P stands for Principal
