Firstly, you have to understand that it is not only in the
Singapore that looks at academic results, to get a job in overseas
you also need qualifications.
I understand that having extra lessons for each subject is too
much. Basically, it is only nessesary to have extra lessons which
the student is weak in. I am quite against the idea of having
music, art, swimming, ballet, abacus and those PSLE subjects
together and fills the child's timetable.
Well, everyone wants to do well, nobody wants to fail and do
badly.
There is no one to blame seriously.
