would just like to ask, if i enter arts stream in JC, can i take this combination- 1 maths, 1 science and 2 humanities?

Depends on the school and your O lvl results

if you are considering taking all 4 of the above subjects at H2 level, must ask your school whether they allow

if 3H2, 1H1, you must take at least 2 H2 "arts" subjects (ie. humanities), the other 2 subjects can be "science", then again that will depend on whether your school has that combi

btw maths is classified under "science"

In some JCs, it is harder to get into Arts stream than Science stream.

it may be so....but the general perception is such due to the economic priorities....

Agreed, it is a wrong perception that science is better than arts. Just like people think JC is better than Polytechnics, which both are actually totally different and cannot be compared.
