hi all... i having english paper 2 on monday...I am having N level this year. The close passage must use what tense? Sometime is past and present i am confuse... How to see by reading the whole para??? The summary part aslo use what tense?? Nid to look at the summary question?

It depends on the passage, you have to read through the whole passage to know what tenses they require you to use.

For summary as well, depends on the question. Some questions may require you to use the present tense. Highlight keywords in the summary question, always give yourself enough time to complete the summary, VERY important!!!

study the tenses well... like: when to use present, past, continuous, perfect tenses.

In the cloze passage, read the sentence and figure out which tenses fit into it. kinda hard to teach at secondary school level online.

eg: will is present/ future tense, would is past tense

Lily was cutting the flower. She (had been cutting) them since morning.

Read the summary question, look out for words like "did". usually past tense, but you can never be sure.
